What we’re about
"The Best Business Relationships Are Personal"
At a Chamber of Commerce workshop way back in 2006, the speaker talked about the benefits of creating your own unique network. It then occurred to me that while Asian American chambers existed in most big US cities, there wasn't one in New York. So what to do?
The theme for most of my adult life has been raising awareness of Asian America and building community. And since I find that fellow business owners tend to be the most motivated, inspirational and interesting people I've met, I decided to start organizing events and an online presence just for Asian American business people.
The Asian-American Entrepreneurs Network (AEN) launched in June 2006, is a community of entrepreneurs, startups, investors and business services providers interested in expanding their network with quality people while supporting each other and celebrating our common cultures. We strive to organize events that will provide access to the best expertise and to create new business relationships.
We have a lot in store for 2018 including workshops, panel discussions, co-working days, peer coaching and lots of networking! So please join us and let us know if what you think!
