The Western Yoga Master, Dr. George King gave us a powerful set of pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) back in the mid-1950s. Many have used these throughout the years and have derived great benefit from them.

This set of pranayama can be broken down into two aspects. The first aspect consists of the basic breathing exercises as taught in Contact Your Higher Self Through Yoga. The second aspect refers to the advanced form of these breathing exercises, which is covered in the lecture Mystic Yoga Breathing as well as explained in the section Kundalini Yoga Breathing in Realize Your Inner Potential.

What will be covered in this class:

  • the advanced form of these breathing exercises as described above
  • advice and tips plus some alternate visualizations for this set of pranayama I have collected and tried from Dr. King's other classes on these exercises
  • a few tips given to me personally by Dr. King

Prerequisite
As some of these advanced techniques can be difficult to follow if one has not already learned the basic set of these exercises, the prerequisite for attendance is for students to regularly practice the basic aspect for 8 weeks or more prior to the class on August 13.
