First Web Components Meetup - July 26th, 2017

Announcing the first ever Web Components Vancouver Meetup! With special guests from EA and Google.

We aim to reach out to developers who share a passion for building awesome, encapsulated, reusable experiences using Web Components.

Why now? Web Components are now standard across browsers! So we as web developers and designers feel it's time to reach out to everyone who cares about building awesome experiences quickly and safely on all your devices. The ability to package up styles and functionality with Shadow DOM and use them in simple, semantic ways with custom-tags makes web development intuitive and maintainable, everywhere.

Why Vancouver? Because Canada's awesome and we happen to live here! It's also home to a ton of tech talent, plus thousands of startups in addition to hundreds of Fortune 500 companies have offices here.

Shuttle service will be available between the Gilmore station and Clio.

Leaving Gilmore Station:

Starting at 6pm and every 1/2 hour after that until 8:30pm.

Leaving Clio

Starting at 6:15pm and every 1/2 hour after that until 8:45pm.
