OPEN HOUSE---The Art & Craft of Photography with Harold Davis

Details
As we continue to grow, we will be encorporating more free and low fee events to give those that haven't used the space an introduction to what the LIGHTHOUSE has to offer. First on the list is from Harold Davis.
Harold Davis presents "The Art and Craft of Photography."
Event description:
In the context of his work, Harold will show how understanding photography and post-production work together to inform the basis of a new art form. The next segment of the presentation will survey some of the sources of creativity, in the context of some Zen ways of thinking---such as the utility of seeing the world with "beginner's mind." He will demonstrate and provide and overview of some of his unique processing techniques. Finally, for those that are interested, he will discuss digital printmaking, and show some prints on interesting substrates, such as Moenkopi Unryu washi and Moab Slickrock Silver. About Harold Davis: Harold Davis is an internationally-known digital artist and award-winning professional photographer. He is the author of many photography books.
