Getting started with backbone.js

This meetup will feature guest-speaker Nick Nisi's presentation on backbone.js. Backbone is a small MVC framework for creating rich client-side applications. It gives the developer a set of model, view, and a router classes to extend to create clean JavaScript code that interfaces with RESTful endpoints on a server, which allows for single-page applications that are URL-aware.
