### About our Speaker

Samuel Malagon is a full stack software engineer and data scientist with a masters in computational and applied mathematics. Sam has a history of working closely with national labs and branches of the military to create geospatial solutions for dynamic systems that bring real time situational awareness to the end user. His experience ranges from vessel route scheduling with conflict avoidance to sensor integration with cameras, GPS, and radar. Examples include: sensor driven command and control systems, dynamic naval vessel routing, and AI powered auto pilot for airborne radar systems. Now he operates as the CEO & CTO of a company called NavFeas, navigating what is feasible, to bring these skills to build data driven systems for conservation and climate response.
