Come energize your morning with your AF DuPage friends and speak French while walking.

For this “Marcher et Bavarder” conversation group we will return to DuPage River Trail - Whalon Lake Loop.

DuPage River Trail - Whalon Lake Loop is a 2 mile popular paved path trail located in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Whalon Lake is an 81-acre gravel pit lake located on Royce Road (south side). The main entrance, which says “Whalon Lake”, (there is also a sign about the dog park) is about 1.5 miles west of Rt. 53 and 1.4 miles east of Washington Rd. We will meet in the parking lot which is a short winding drive from the main entrance across from the picnic area. This nice, paved multi-use trail around a lake is generally considered an easy route. Let’s walk off our Fête de Noël calories and speak some French while we do that!

Please RSVP to let us know if you’re coming. We’ll ask for your mobile phone number so we can contact you if needed on the day of the event. In case of extremely cold weather and/or a wind chill warning, we will email those who have registered to notify of a cancellation.
