CatVideoFest 2026 (film starts at 5:15; meet between 4:50-5:05)

ABOUT THE FILM

I know that you want to see CatVideoFest, but perhaps none of your friends want to, so this Meetup is to help you out.

My understanding is that the plot of this film is severely lacking, but the acting is great, and the actors are all very attractive and cute.

A portion of ticket proceeds help local pets in need.

Of course you can find no shortage of cat videos on YouTube. (My guess is that the majority of videos on YouTube are in fact cat videos.) But instead of watching cat videos at home on your own, come to the theater and watch them together with other aficionados of the art of fine films. (Note: cats not included.)

MEETING UP

The cats take the screen and the film starts at 5:15. I will be in the lobby outside the theater on the 8th between 4:50-5:05. Not planning on having any special signage or other identifying symbols, but I intend on looking like my picture here on Meetup (and am willing to take another picture, if need be, to accomplish that). I would like to go in the theater at 5:05 to get seats, although if you arrive between 5:05-5:15 you can certainly look for me/us in the theater.

AFTER THE FILM

It's an hour and 10 minutes which means that it should be ending around 6:30, which would be a fine time to get something to eat or drink close by afterwards, and chat about film, or cats, or dogs, or elephants, or any other suitable related topics or animals, if others are interested. If others are up for that we can figure out at the time where to go.
