AFL-Acting for Life Workshop
Details
Acting for Life is a theatre-inspired training for anyone who wants to feel more present, expressive and confident — on stage, at work, or in daily life.
No previous acting experience is required.
In each 2-hour session we work with:
- body awareness and grounding
- voice, breath and resonance
- imagination, play and emotional clarity
- simple partner and group exercises that build trust and presence
You’ll move, speak, improvise, and explore short situations — always in a supportive, non-judgemental atmosphere. The focus is not on “performing perfectly”, but on discovering a more alive, honest version of yourself.
This workshop is part of an ongoing 10-session Acting for Life course, but it’s also open as a drop-in:
you can come just for this session to experience the work, and if it resonates, you’re welcome to continue with the full course.
The training is led by Juliana Berezhnaya - an opera & theatre director and educator, creator of Acting for Life, with experience teaching in Prague, Vienna, Berlin and now the Netherlands.
