What we’re about
AFRICA CONN3CT is a community built for real conversations at the intersection of Web3, finance and emerging technology.
What started as CAPE CONN3CT in Cape Town has grown into something bigger, a platform connecting founders, builders, investors, regulators and institutional voices across South Africa (and hopefully, beyond).
We host high-signal, low-fluff events focused on the real-world application of new technologies, from tokenisation and stablecoins to compliance, infrastructure and the evolving financial layer.
No hype. No egos. Just the right people in the room, talking about what actually matters.
Each event is curated and intentionally designed. We bring together voices from traditional finance, crypto-native platforms, regulators, technologists, and more, all with a focus on practical insights and strategic thinking.
If you care about where finance and tech are going and want to be part of the conversation without the noise, follow us for updates, event announcements, and to stay connected with what’s next.
If you’re looking for a genuine Web3 community, join us and get involved.
Bringing together the people shaping the future of financial infrastructure in South Africa.
What began as CAPE CONN3CT in Cape Town is now AFRICA CONN3CT a growing platform for open, high-trust dialogue across Africa’s finance and tech ecosystems.
We’re not a conference or a sales funnel. We’re a founder-led community focused on real conversations, practical insight and meaningful connection.
No hype. No egos.
With strong momentum from recent events in Cape Town hosted by Investec - AFRICA CONN3CT now lands in Johannesburg where we’ll dig into the institutional realities of tokenised finance.
