Soleful Runs in partnership with Heritage Toronto has organized a guided 60-minute walk through York South-Weston, tracing the legacies of Black Canadian athlete trailblazers.
Discover the schools, community centres, courts, and businesses that nurtured local talent from this neighbourhood to international stadiums.
If you’ve never been to this neighbourhood before, I encourage you to come out and experience this vibrant Black community. If you are familiar with the neighbourhood, I encourage you to join us and learn more about its history and the Black Canadian athletes it has produced!
