🥾LET’S GO HIKE🚶🏾🚶🏾‍♀️AT AMICALOLA FALLS LOOP IN DAWSONVILLE, GA

Hiking Friends,

On Saturday, June 28th, 2025, we will hike at the Amicalola Falls Loop Trail, part of the Amicalola Falls State Park, in Dawsonville GA.

This is a 2.4 - mile loop trail, that is rated moderate. It has 813ft of elevation, and takes about 1 1/2 hrs to complete. The trail is strenuous, with a 425 step climb to get to the top. But it is picturesque, offering great views of the waterfall, which is the main attraction of the park. So, if you're coming, get ready for a workout, with great views that are so worth it.
Also, considering the distance, carpooling for some, may be a good idea to consider, with coordination to be worked out among attendees.

We will gather at the parking lot at 8:30am. Payment is required to park.

“Hike N Learn” for this hike will focus on the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) 🇨🇮, featuring a five-minute snapshot of the country’s history, cuisine, language, music, unique culture, and fun facts.
