On Saturday, March 28th, 2026, we will hike at the Vickery Creek Trail (Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area)
The 3.5-mile semi-loop takes an average of 1 and a half hours to complete. This is an easy to moderate hiking trail. The terrain is basically rocky, but we also have very flat areas. Expect some slopes and light elevations while walking on this trail.
Because it’s Spring season, trees are gaining back their leaves to fill up the canopy. This creates beautiful scenery and shades in the area.
We will meet at the parking lot on Oxbo road. There is enough of free parking spots there. But keep in mind that more people are getting back to outdoors activities. So let’s get there early to find a parking spot.
