What we’re about

The old, but not forgotten Kingdoms

Afrakan's in search of classical Afrakan history is a group solely dedicated to Afrakan's or peoples of Afrakan descent who are interested in learning about and sharing their knowledge of classical Afrakan history.

The aim of this group is to bring together Afrakan's who truly want to learn about our history in order for us to establish a new dialogue about who we truly are and what we are capable of achieving.

Etymology:

Whilst we are still piecing together the real names and locations of our past, I will wherever possible refer to Africa as either:

Afraka, "literally means "
*AF- Flesh, *Ka- Immortal Eternal Soul, Life Force, Spirit, *Ra- Sun Creation, Enlightenment, Conception of life, Manifestation, Light, Heat, Ignite.
or
Alkebu- lan, translated as: “mother of mankind” or “garden of Eden”
The continent of Africa has been called by many names such as Aethiops, Nubia, Libya,·and Alkebu - Lan, which is the most ancient amongst the indigenous populations. These kingdoms flourished greatly for thousands of years before Europe was even in its dawning stages of civilization.

ALKEBU - LAN therefore is the oldest and most indigenous name for Afraka. This is the name that has been used for millenniums by the Ethiopians, Nubians, Moors, Khart - Haddans {Carthagenians), and Numidians, historically, the most ancient Peoples of Humankind.

All I do, I do for my people past and present.

Peace and Love,
Abena
