What we’re about
We are African Conversations Network, an organization of humans of African ancestry, passionate about Africa, regardless of our ethnicities, religions, or worldviews. We are a uniquely safe space where those with diverse experiences use dialogue to bridge the gulf of human difference, helping us lessen intolerance, ease ethnic tensions, eliminate prejudice and discrimination and combat the aggressive rate of deterioration of affairs on the continent. We recognize that our differences have been exaggerated and exploited to fragment our communities and we examine the possibilities of wholesome connections and communities. Our members join The Convos to examine their different perspectives, and gain new ones, at the roundtable of rational discourse – demonstrating that consistently practicing simple, everyday reasoning, regardless of our differences, will be the continent’s next major step in social evolution and geopolitical development.
