June Afro Book Club Meet: Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Details
Calling on lovers, readers and critics of Black and African contemporary literature in Berlin! Or just anyone looking to hit their reading goals this year ;)
Our book for the month of June is:
Americanah
by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
To mark its 10th year anniversary, we’re throwing it back to the epic „contemporary classic“ that had Black Literature readers by the throat.
Americanah tells the story of a young Nigerian woman, Ifemelu, who immigrates to the United States to attend university. The novel traces Ifemelu's life in both countries, threaded by her love story with high school classmate Obinze.
For those who‘ve already read it and had always been itching to review it, this is your chance! For those who never got the chance to read it, what are you waiting for!?
Entry is free and open to anyone interested in discussing and dissecting literature from Africa and the diaspora. You get to meet amazing people too! This month we will be meeting in the park to enjoy the nice weather.
Bring a blanket and drinks if you can!
More details will follow shortly.
See you there! :)
