This group is designed to encourage people of color to see the world. Have you ever had a strong urge to travel, but you've convinced yourself that "I can't afford to go," "I have no one to go with," etc.? Well, now is your chance!! Let’s see the USA and abroad (but for a reasonable price). :)
This group is geared towards people of color of all ages with the intent to promote traveling to various destinations. Though the targeted demographic is people of color, ANYONE is welcome to join :) One of the coolest things about this group is that it permits the chance to trade thoughts, ideas and experiences with fellow people of color. Travel isn’t a luxury, but a mindset and a lifestyle. Typical activities of this group will include monthly meet-and-greets (to welcome new members and discuss travel ideas, concerns, etc.). There will also be meetings held (informal) to discuss the status of trip planning, deposits for trip, etc. In the end, new friendships and travel buddies will be developed as we see the world as a group. The question is: are you ready? :)
