Event Overview:
Join Afro Bare Social for our gathering: a grounding hike to the Montecito Hot Springs followed by a cozy dinner and wine-fueled night out in the beautiful Danish-style town of Solvang. This event is a celebration of nudity, nature, community, and BIPOC connection.

### Hike + Soak Details:
- Trail: Montecito Hot Springs Trail (Hot Springs Canyon Trail)
- Weather: 80
- Distance: ~2.5 miles round trip
- Elevation Gain: ~700 feet
- Difficulty: Moderate
- Experience: A scenic, shaded trail leading to warm, mineral-rich pools tucked into the hillside. Clothing is optional at the springs, and our group will be practicing body-positivity and consent culture throughout.

### Parking + Carpooling:
Parking is extremely limited at the trailhead, with only about 10 legal spots available. There is parking in the surrounding neighborhood but still scarce. Arrive early or coordinate a carpool to avoid ticketing or towing.
Please only carpool with people you know and trust, as this event is open to members outside of our WhatsApp group.
If you are not in our Whatsapp group and want to attend the event you will be added and vetted prior to the event. This is where communication will be the day of the event, NOT on Meetup. If you bring someone, they must be in our group and have been vetted. If you arrive with someone that we do not know or you have not RSVP'd we will ask you not to hike with us.

### After the Soak: Solvang!
Once we’re done soaking, we’ll change and drive to Solvang for the second half of the experience.
The drive from Montecito to Solvang is approximately 50 minutes (about 35 miles) and offers a beautiful scenic ride through wine country.
Evening plans include:
- Wandering through Solvang’s downtown area
- Visiting multiple bars and wineries for tastings
- Dinner at a local restaurant (exact spot TBA)
- Optional bar-hopping or late-night fun

### What to Bring:
- Water (at least 1 liter)
- Light snacks or lunch
- Sturdy hiking shoes
- Swimsuit or towel (optional but recommended)
- Change of clothes for Solvang (casual, fun, wine-tasting-friendly)
- ID for wineries
- Consent, curiosity, and community spirit

### Community Agreements:
- Nudity is welcomed at the hot springs. Please do not take photos or videos unless consent is explicitly given.
- Consent is essential—in conversation, touch, and space.
- Body positivity is core to our group. Come as you are. All bodies are sacred.
- This is a BIPOC-centered space for those exploring nudism, kink, BDSM, and ENM with intention and care.
