Welcome to After Amen, a social and nightlife community for Christians (and Christian-adjacent friends) who love to dance, connect, and have fun—without the awkward church event vibes. This is a space for both faith-based and secular activities, from Latin dance socials, Comedy Clubs, Art Galleries, and rooftop nights to NYC nightlife adventures.

About Me:
I’m a professional bachata dancer in NYC with 10 years of experience. After becoming a born-again Christian in October 2023, I felt a tension in my identity: too much of a dancer to fit the typical Christian mold, too Christian to fit the typical dancer lifestyle. I created this group to connect with like-minded individuals who want to enjoy both worlds—faith and nightlife—without compromise.

• Christians looking for community beyond church, Bible study, or volunteering
• Singles and couples seeking fun, social, values-aligned events
• Anyone curious about faith-friendly nightlife, dance, and Latin culture
