Frank will bring a boombox and some cd's for cha-cha-cha, samba, and tango.
If you have any cd's for latin dancing, please bring them along.
No formality. We'll simply have some music and dance.
The parks board have opened much of the park for byo bevvies.
That includes the lawn adjacent to the showboat.
But not the showboat stage or stands.
I spoke with an organizer of the lindy-hop group who danced thursdays.
He expects them to move to tuesdays, probably 7.
As for other groups from last year. Haven't seen any yet.
With the Society taking 5 evenings a week for listeners, doesn't leave much time for dancers. Ah well.
I'm optimistic that we'll have until 6:30. Longer would be nicer.
Options after that? Switch to Lindy?
Yew street has multi bevvies and munchies venues.
We could settle in on the lawn, maybe near the picturesque Norfolk Pine.
Any ideas, please comment.
