Afternoon Tea & Other Adventures - San Diego

Hi everyone~

I love Capital Seafood Restaurant in Irvine Spectrum Center, so let’s head on up there for their fabulous dim sum! You can view their super yummy menu at https://linktr.ee/capitalseafood

We’ll each be ordering separately and have individual checks. The Spectrum Center has dedicated parking structures but also a ton of people coming and going (you can ask me about my experience in their garage one time over our lunch), so I’d allocate some extra time for parking and finding the restaurant. If you’re interested in carpooling from North County, or from elsewhere in San Diego, please leave a comment in that section of the event.

Also, I’m RSVPing for 3 guests, but they are all tea group members (Leah, Marilu, and my mom, Jeanette). We came up with this idea after ogling Leah’s dim sum at the Windmill Food Hall lunch event, and hope you will join us on this adventure!

Hi everyone~

My mom and I will be hosting a Friendsgiving potluck at our home in Encinitas, so let’s get gobbling!

I have no idea how to cook a turkey and no desire to learn that skill, so that will not be a part of our contributions as hosts. (🚫🦃 ). We will be serving a cheese plate and some wine to get us started, instead. (✅ 🧀 🍷).

Please plan to bring a food and/or beverage to share with the group. You’re welcome to bring any board games you like, as well.

Final details, including address and parking info, will be shared with attendees a few days before the event.

Note: Since this event is being held in our home, if this will be your first event with the group, please plan to meet me for an introductory coffee beforehand. If you are new and we aren’t able to schedule a 1:1 meeting before this event, I look forward to welcoming you to the group at a different event in the future. Thank you!
