Birding Grimm Farm at Carver Park Reserve

Details
Interested in birding but do not know where to start? Looking to get outside and enjoy the fresh air? Join our Audubon Chapter of Minneapolis board members for some casual birding.
Registration required and limited to 10 people. To reserve your spot(s), please email Brandon Lentz at brandon.lentz@gmail.com
What to Expect: No experience required and all are welcome. Loaner binoculars are available upon request when you register to participate. Our guides will plan to lead the group birding for 1-1.5 hours- stay as long as you like. Our guides will often continue birding after that end time with guests who wish to stay longer.
Birdability (accessibility notes):
The trails are snow-packed and unpaved, with hilly terrain to traverse. The walk will be approximately 1-2 miles. Public restrooms (port-a-potties) may be available, but please be prepared in the case they are not. Please contact the leader with questions or concerns.
What to Wear: Dress for success! Be sure to check the weather forecast and dress to your comfort level. While birding, our group will stop frequently along the trail. Warm, sturdy boots are recommended for winter trails.
Where to Go: We will meet in the farmhouse parking lot.
