If you are close to 50 or over this group could be for you.
We are a Not for Profit, non-business organization.
Our purpose is to provide a wide range of social event opportunities for our community of members who are close to the age of 50 or older.
We do not operate to generate a profit for only its owners or members. Instead, any revenue exceeding expenses (ie.”profit”) must be reinvested to further our organization's purpose and to serve and support our community. In essence, we are an organization dedicated to serving a purpose beyond simply making money.
Here are some examples of recreational and educational activities** and events** you can choose from:
- Live Theatre
- Live Music
- Coffee
- Restaurants (Brunches, Dinners, Happy Hours)
- Recreational Sports (Pickleball, Table Tennis)
- Walks
- Bike Rides
- Movies
- Board and Card Games
- Travel
- Educational Tours
- Adventure Activities

Attending Events:
To attend any event you must be a paid member. Please, no drop in's
Annual Membership Fees:
Equal to about the price of one good quality restaurant meal (food, drink, taxes, tip) $49***
What value do you get?
- You can attend a year of social events and activities making new friends, exploring new interests and sharing new experiences.
- You benefit from the services of each volunteer organizer who invest hundreds of hours per year dedicated to planning, posting and attending events

Membership fees are pooled into a fund and are managed by the two owners, Anil and Harvey.
What do the Fund Managers use fees for?
All expenses incurred are for the group's shared entertainment and social benefit. They include items such as;
- Meetup Platform Subscription Costs.
- Additional expenses such as these examples:
- Event supplies, party supplies, rental expenses, reservations charges, organizer event expenses, event related transportation, purchase of new and replacement boardgames, new sports equipment and other unanticipated expenses
Code of Conduct
We provide a fun community that is safe and welcoming. This is a social group and not a dating site. Unsolicited messages to members are not allowed. Treat everyone in a respectful and welcoming fashion. No bullying or harassment, or aggressive behaviour.
Respect Volunteer Organizers:
They do their best and aim to deliver good value and great shared experiences. Please show respect and appreciation to all the volunteer organizers for their time and effort.
