Cypress Mountain Eagle Coaster (Cancelled By Guest Services)

This event has been cancelled by Cypress Guest Services due to the weather. You should have received an email from them regarding rescheduling, receiving credit voucher, or receiving refund.

Japan has the bullet train, using the latest in advanced electromagnetic technology to propel passengers safely at speeds over 500 km/hr.

We, on the other hand, have the Cypress Mountain Eagle Coaster, using the latest in pushing you down a steep mountain technology to propel you (probably safely) at speeds of up to 40 km/hr.

Come join us in experiencing this 1.7 km ride. The ride includes a breathtaking scenic chairlift ride to the top.

THEIR DESCRIPTION

"Departing from the top of Black Mountain, this captivating ride spans over 1700 meters and boasts an impressive vertical drop of 279 meters.
Control your own speed using the handbrake, allowing you to tailor the intensity of your ride. Safely reach thrilling speeds of up to 40 km per hour as you immerse yourself in the summer air and take in the breathtaking landscape of Vancouver and beyond."

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own tickets. We are planning for the first time slot for the first ride to be 10 AM so buy your ticket for that time. (If you buy a later time slot, you will be riding the chairlift up and waiting in line by yourself unless someone else also buys that time slot.) If your time slot is too late, we may not wait around for you to complete your ride.

You can choose to buy either a 1 ride ticket ($35) or a 2 ride ticket ($53). A 2 ride ticket means you are doing a second ride back to back. It is not transferable to another person. I am only purchasing one ride for myself.

After the 1st ride, those only doing 1 ride will wander off to one of the dining establishments in Cypress Creek Lodge (Gold Medal Cafe, Aguila Cantina, or Crazy Raven Bar and Grill) while those doing 2 rides will head back up for their second run. They will join us after their second run.

TRANSPORTATION

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation. We can try to arrange carpooling through the comments.

As you are purchasing your ticket directly from the ride operators, you are responsible for reviewing and abiding by their refund and cancellation policy.
