The Vancouver Police Museum and Archives is presenting a fundraiser trivia night. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Trivia begins at 7:30PM. This is a licensed event so drinks and snacks can be purchased. (Please do not expect dinner. The place used to be a morgue. You probably don't want to eat meals cooked there - especially their specialty: liver, fava beans, and chianti.)
I have provided links to their website.

THEIR DESCRIPTION
"Get ready for a night of wit, wagers, and fascinating morbidity!
Join us for a unique trivia night hosted by our museum director and the charmingly sassy trivia expert, Christie Strauss.
Test your knowledge on everything from true crime and forensics to local history and museum facts. With big prizes for mini-games, funniest answers, and the winning team, there's plenty of opportunity to take home some incredible loot.
The museum is hosting this event as a fundraiser to help us raise enough money to replace our museum catalogue and database system. This will assist the museum in maintaining records of our incredible collections and archives and will also increase accessibility to our collection. We will find a program with online capability, ensuring people have access to our historic records and collections regardless of their location, and our heritage buildings' lack of accessibility."
EVENT and ILLUSION OF SAFETY WALK DESCRIPTION
Our group will meet outside of the museum at 6:30 PM.
ILLUSION OF SAFETY WALK*
This area of town might be an area that people do not feel comfortable walking alone at night.
If anyone would like a "safety walk", we can meet at the Waterfront skytrain station at 6:10 PM and walk together to the museum (16 minute walk). The We Are Not The Marines Policy applies to the 6:10 PM walk. (We will leave a person behind so please ensure you are there by 6:10 PM.) After the event, we will walk you back to the skytrain station.
PLEASE POST IN THE COMMENTS IF YOU WANT TO BE PART OF THE ILLUSION OF SAFETY WALK. (If no one comments, I'll assume everyone is comfortable getting to the museum themselves.)
*Disclaimers:
In the event you are attacked during the "safety walk", I will not save you. However, I will take pictures or videos for the police so your death can be avenged.
