Laura Nobili’s Overture, setting the stage for Handel’s elegant Harp Concerto in B-flat, Op. 4 No. 6, brought to life by acclaimed harpist Rita Costanzi* with grace and poise.

She returns for Samuel Rousseau’s Pastoral Variations, a lyrical and evocative gem that showcases her exquisite artistry. Vaughan Williams’ English Folk Song Suite (final movement) bursts with rustic charm, while Prokofiev’s Troika whisks us into a brisk Russian sleigh ride.

Strauss’s lively Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka follows, adding spirited Viennese flair.

Vancouver Bach Choir joins for The Polar Express, capturing the wonder and magic of the season.

The celebration concludes with Leroy Anderson’s beloved A Christmas Festival and a joyful selection of carols, bringing the evening to a radiant, heartwarming close.
