Upward Labs, based in Hartford, CT, is a pilot program for Aged Care and Smart Building companies. The lab offers startups the opportunity to work with the US's leading Fortune 500 companies and pilot their products under the purview of the Labs's 27 corporate partners including Cigna, Aetna, AARP, Travelers, JLL, Beazley, AXA XL, The Hartford, UBS, Carrier (UTC), Nassau Re, Benchmark, Stanley HealthCare, CareCentrix, Lincoln Financial, Greenwich Hospitality Group, Fairstead Properties and more.

On May 22nd, Upward Labs will be visiting Tel Aviv to meet cutting edge Israeli technologies in both the Aged Care and Smart Building industries.

Three startups from each category will be selected prior to the event to deliver a 5-min pitch about their product and the winners (one from each category) will be fast-tracked to participate in Upward Lab's Selection Day in September and present in front of all our corporate partners.

In addition, two participating startups will be selected during the event from among the participants to pitch and receive advice from the judges on what they need to do to successfully partner with our corporate partners and secure VC investment in the US.
