How to get more out of your Scrum Events
with Glen Gordon

Whether you're new to Scrum or a seasoned Scrum practitioner, you have been (hopefully) participating in the Scrum events: Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews Sprint Retrospectives, and even the Sprint itself. But do these events feel like a chore? An obligation? Something to get through so you can check a box and say "Hey look, we are doing Scrum"? Are you longing for them to be more rewarding, insightful, and even enjoyable? Then this session is for you. In this talk, we'll return to the roots of Agile and Scrum to revisit the foundational reasons why they exist in the first place. That will enable us to really dig into how the Scrum Events are designed around the Scrum values and the pillars of Transparency, Inspection and Adaptation. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of why and how the Scrum events are the way they are, and how to recognize when they are drifting from their intended purpose so you can get things back on track. Of course, if you have tips, techniques, and experiences that help you get more out of Scrum events, bring them along and share them too!
