Hi everyone,

Agile Atlanta is going to move up a few days to Thursday, Dec 4th, at
the regular IBM/ISS location.

Arlen Bankston from LitheSpeed is in town to teach a Certified Scrum
Product Owner class on Dec 4th - 5th. (see
http://www.lithespe... ed.com/CPO_ Detail.htm for details about the class)

Arlen is going to speak to us about how to be a good Product Owner.
We will get a more detailed abstract of the talk out soon, but for
now, go ahead and mark you calendars for the 4th.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

TITLE:
Advanced Tools for the Agile Product Owner

ABSTRACT:
Agile Product Owners have difficult jobs; figuring out what to build and in what order, managing myriad stakeholders, keeping the team fed and watered… it can all be a bit overwhelming. The basic tools of methodologies such as Scrum are not always sufficient to keep account of The Big Picture, generate a truly shared vision within a team and communicate project progress in a way that resonates to those unfamiliar with Agile jargon.

This session will explore some specific tools and techniques that real-world Product Owners have applied to make their lives a bit easier and create innovative products with minimal overhead.
