Do you have a new team or an existing team that needs help with alignment or working better together? Want to know a way to help your sprint team be more connected to the Scrum Values?

A great way is to use a Team Working Agreement. A Team Working Agreement helps to build team synergy and have a shared understanding of working together.

In this session, we will explore Team Working Agreements for teams who are new or need a refresh. This session will include what elements make up a Team Working Agreement that can be practically applied to support distributed teams.

Team Working Agreements will primarily focus on:

• People, Collaboration and Connection
• Team Unity
• Transparency

Learnings and Take Aways:

• Ways to help promote Psychological Safety
• Example of a currently used Team Working Agreement

About the Speaker

Charlene Freeman has worked within Information Technology for over 25+ years, holding many roles such as SAFe Scrum Master, Technical Scrum Master, Software Quality Leader, QA Engineer, Project Manager, Agile Transformation Leader, Release Manager, DevOps Analyst, Confluence and JIRA Admin and Product Support Analyst. She has been working within the Agile space since 2009 and a Scrum Master since 2016. Her certifications include: CSM, SAFe SM, CSPO and KMP.

Charlene brings her real-life experience approach to her Scrum teams since she spent many years working as a Scrum Team member. She currently works as a Senior Scrum Master and Agile Coach at Corpay, and serves as Leader on their Global Agile Alliance and Agile Transformations team where she lives by the follow motto “Protect the Team, Protect the Sprint”

Charlene is active in the Atlanta IT Community and is involved in multiple Agile meetup/networking groups. She also volunteers through TechBridge and teaches students in their TCP – Technology Career program classes.
