WIP IT GOOD? NO, WIP IT BAD!!

Details
Devo is obviously the house band for a majority of large enterprises. As such, these enterprises continually struggle to comprehend the negative performance impacts of having too much WIP (work in progress). This presentation attempts to answer the question, “WIP IT GOOD?” by relating our daily struggles with highway traffic (something we are all too familiar with) to working in a “traditional” enterprise where 100% utilization of resources is expected. By establishing this relationship and using our intuitive feel for how traffic flows in certain situations – it is hoped that this presentation will give Agile practitioners another tool in their tool belt to inform enterprises to create and sustain a more healthy work environment.
