This is part 2 of a 2 part series on Agile Coaching as part of the Agile Reflect 2020 Festival.
The Agile Manifesto was written 20 years ago, and Lyssa Adkins' foundational text on coaching agile teams was published 10 years ago. In the second of this two-part event, we’ll look not just at where agile coaching is now, but where it might go next.
Join two agile coaches who are paving the transformation path for this profession and the vital role it plays in helping organisations succeed.
Part exploration of agile coaching today and part futurespective, this second fireside chat will be enlivened by the diverse voices of two visionaries!
Panellists:
Simon Powers, founder and CEO of Adventures with Agile (AWA)
Simon is the CEO and founder of Adventures with Agile, the training and coaching company and global community of practice for agile and organizational change. Over the last two decades Simon has worked with leaders to improve their organisations, meet their objectives, and create a productive and happy work environment. He has worked in many industries including banking, financial services, retail, manufacturing, charity, oil and gas, and public sector. He is winner of multiple agile awards, and has written many articles and videos that have shaped the way people think about agile and organisational change.
Jon Gedge, agile and leadership coach
Jon is an agile coach who has worked with organisations across multiple sectors in the UK and Australia over the last decade. He is constantly fascinated by the stuff we (or maybe just he) don't know how to do yet, and this has led him to study many diverse theories and skills, and find ways to integrate these into his coaching. His coaching approach currently mashes together agile coaching, leadership coaching, integral theory, developmental theory and systemic coaching and while he continues to find ways to weave those elements together he is always on the lookout for the next ingredient to throw into the pot.
The fireside chat will be facilitated by Katrina Kolt, Manager of the team of Agile Coaches at IAG; Australia and New Zealand’s largest general insurer.
