Creating a musical composition is no easy task. It requires a good conductor with a sharp ear and attention to detail, ensuring that melody, harmony, rhythm, tempo, and texture blend seamlessly to create an unforgettable listening experience.

Constructing dataflows using Python Code requires a specific set of skills in different ways. You need a comprehensive framework that simplifies the process of building and tracking your data transformations. This framework should be self-documenting to avoid confusion and allow effortless recall. Additionally, it should enable you to unit test your data transformations, ensuring they work flawlessly. Lastly, visualizing data lineage is a crucial aspect of the process.

In summary, both composing music and building dataflows demand precision and meticulousness. However, with the right tools and mindset, you can achieve anything you set your mind to! We are unsure about composing music, but for dataflows, we will explore how much Hamilton can help you with Elijah, CTO and co-founder of DAGWorks, ex-Stitch Fix, on the 31st of May, at 6 pm, do you want to join us?

PLEASE BRING ID ๐Ÿชช as we will have Security Access on the door at OpenCredo Offices

Our Guest Speaker:
--------------------------------------------------------
Elijah Ben Izzy [Linkedin] [Github] [Twitter]
CTO/Co-founder, DAGWorks, Inc.

Elijah has always enjoyed working at the intersection of maths and engineering. More recently, he has focused his career on building tools to make data scientists and researchers more productive. At Two Sigma, he built infrastructure to help quantitative researchers efficiently turn ideas into production trading models. At Stitch Fix, he ran the Model Lifecycle team, which focuses on streamlining the experience for data scientists to create and ship machine learning models. He is now the CTO at DAGWorks, which aims to solve the problem of building and maintaining complex ETLs for machine learning. He enjoys geeking about fractals, poring over antique maps, and playing jazz piano in his spare time.

Our Host

Ebru Cucen [Linkedin] [Github] [Twitter]
Lead Consultant, OpenCredo

Ebru is a Co-Organiser of Agile Data LDN, is a hands-on architect, and has been involved in the end-to-end design, development and delivery of scalable fault-tolerant cloud-native solutions. With a more recent focus on data engineering, graphs and ML/AI, she looks to combine the best of both worlds - gaining new and fresh insights delivered through a stable, reliable solution. She is the author of the ebook Graph ML explaining use cases for Graph.

We are also working on having some surprise guests who are active users of Hamilton join Ebru and Elijah for a LIVE discussion about Hamilton and the future.
