PART 2: Coaches & SM's presents: Doing “No” Better - Andy Cleff

Details

We ran out of time, so we’ll do a quick recap of Part 1, and then dive into Part 2 : The 'No' Repertoire.

When stakeholders ask a team to do something, team members can confuse the request with their relationship with the asker. Sometimes the two seem so interconnected, and folks forget that denying the request is not the same as denying the person. Only once team members separate the decision from the relationship can they make a clear choice and then find both the courage and the compassion to communicate it.

Join this session with Transformation Coach Andy Cleff as he discusses:

  • Saying “No” Gracefully Doesn’t Have To Mean Using The Word No
  • Remember That A Clear “No” Can Be More Graceful Than A Vague Or Noncommittal “Yes”
  • Focus On the Trade-Off(s)
  • The “No” Repertoire

Agenda :

  • 6:00 p.m. Welcome, announcements, introduction
  • 6:15 p.m. Interactive Presentation
