Facilitation: The humble guide with Mat Hayes and Arif Bobat

Details

Great meetings often don’t just happen on their own. Agendas can help, but we can often leave feeling frustrated.

  • We didn’t cover the right topics
  • Lots of deliberating but not deciding
  • Too many actions but no accountability
  • The loudest voice took over

If we put the right amount of thought into it and create the right kind of space, it can seem like it did just happen on its own. A good facilitator is one that nobody noticed, but the right things happened.

If you’re a Scrum Master, Coach, or just get involved in lots of meetings, this is for you! In this highly interactive session we explore different ways to help the right thing to happen, be part of the space not part of the detail. There are many tools and techniques to accomplish this, we will look at what they are, and how best to interact with them. We even look at how you can deal with uncertainty...

Your sessions will never be the same again!

Doors open at 18.30, please arrive by 18.45 for drinks and networking for a 7pm start. Pizza and continued networking from 8pm.

Look forward to seeing you there!
