Communication with Attitude: Addressing difficult topics in a constructive way

You’ve probably all been in this situation… Within a team, there are events, actions, and comments that really get under your skin and affect you deeply. Emotions are running high; we’re shaken, moved… We feel that it needs to be addressed, but how can I bring it up appropriately and constructively?
We pluck up the courage and address it… "What you said last week really crossed a line for me. That’s a no-go…" And before we realize, we're caught in a cycle of blame, defensiveness and justification.
At its core, this kind of conversation has to do with our attitude toward the people we’re talking to. Our attitude is linked to our vocabulary and the way we speak. Vice versa, we can also use language and words to deliberately create a constructive attitude.
And that's exactly what we'd like to explore together in an interactive format. Meaning, this workshop thrives on your participation and collaborative group work.
Continuing our 2026 community approach, there’s great news again: New place, new speaker, hot topic! We’re excited to welcome Peter as both host and speaker at UCon42 GmbH, located in Dresden’s vibrant Neustadt.
Peter is not only a longtime member of our Agile Dresden community, but has also been a successful independent entrepreneur for over eight years. As a senior consultant, coach and trainer, Peter focuses on people-centric approaches and the role communication plus mindset play in successful collaboration. A key aspect of his work is fostering environments of psychological safety.
