Exploring Leadership, Trust and a Blameless Culture at AWS

Dearest Agilists,
As we hit the last quarter of the year it’s about time to join our next event.

What if better leadership meant giving up control? And what if making mistakes wasn't the problem – but how we deal with them?
Trust is easy to talk about, but much harder to put into practice. Especially when things go wrong, deadlines are tight, or our instinct tells us to take control. So, how do we build teams where people feel empowered to make decisions, take ownership, speak up, and learn from mistakes without fear?

This is what we’re going to dive into while teaming up with AWS in Dresden. 🎉
So join us at another great location to explore two related topics: leading by trust over power and creating a blameless culture of learning from fails.
Our valued host and speaker, Andreas Stieger, Senior Software Development Manager at AWS, will share insights and real-world experiences from his leadership journey, drawing on two of his talks presented at DecompileD. As manager at AWS, Andreas is interested in building high performance teams based on trust and enjoys sharing his experiences.

And as you know us, we're not here just to sit and listen. 😉
We'll combine short impulses with interactive reflections, discussions, and hands-on group activities. You'll have plenty of opportunities to share your own experiences, challenge assumptions, explore different perspectives, and turn insights into ideas worth trying.

Whether you're a Lead, manager, coach, Scrum Master, team member, or simply just curious about better ways of working together – your perspective matters, and we'd love to have you join us!
