Co-Meetup with the New York Compass and Sass Meetup

Details
This month, we're shifting gears from our previous design docs discussion to focus on the tech side. Our next meetup will be a collaboration with the New York Sass and Compass Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/nyc-sass/). (No idea what Sass (http://sass-lang.com/) and Compass (http://compass-style.org/) are all about? A couple primers: Sass for Designers (http://sonspring.com/journal/sass-for-designers), Getting Started with Sass (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/getting-started-with-sass/).)
As with previous Meetups, we'll have a number of short sessions, followed by general panel-type discussion.

He is a hybrid web designer, front end developer and is a Sass and Compass enthusiast. He's going to present on Sassy Style Tiles, an open source solution to quickly and easily generating style tiles in CSS and HTML using Sass and Compass. Style Tiles (http://styletil.es (http://styletil.es/)) is a great solution for getting away from Photoshop comps. They allow a separation of style from layout. Especially now with responsive web design there's no longer a definitive layout. However, style tiles are still being generated in Photoshop or FireWorks! Sassy Style Tiles lets you design in the browser not in pixel based AdobeLand.

Mason is the creator behind Survival Kit (https://github.com/canarymason/Survival-Kit), Breakpoint (https://github.com/canarymason/breakpoint), coined the term Coding Designer (http://thecodingdesigner.com/), and author of many articles on RWD in Sass.
