Intro to Constructive Communication
Details
A practical 3-hour workshop on how to stay grounded, clear, and connected in challenging conversations. You’ll get a compact overview of constructive communication (based on Nonviolent Communication), plus demos, small exercises, and discussion.
This is for anyone who wants to communicate with more clarity, empathy, and ease.
Practicing constructive communication over time supports you in:
- Listening to yourself and others compassionately
- Expressing yourself honestly and constructively
- Living a life according to your values
- Understanding feelings and needs
- Transforming conflicts
NVC was developed by psychologist Marshall B. Rosenberg. It’s used worldwide in personal relationships, workplaces, schools, and mediation. Its aim is to build connection to yourself and others.
About the trainer:
The workshop is facilitated by Ari Tanninen, constructive communication counsellor (RVO®), entrepreneur, and long-time member of Agile Finland ry. Ari is not a certified NVC trainer, but he is working on it.
