Workshop: Measuring and Accelerating Flow with SAFe

Welcome to our hands-on Flow Metrics workshop, led by Odile Moreau from Scaled Agile Inc and Virpi Rowe from WikiAgile. We extend our sincere gratitude to WithSecure for generously providing the facilities for this event.

Abstract:

This 2-hour workshop will give the participants a practical understanding of flow. In teams, they will reflect on the six main flow metrics and how they can be applied at Team, ART and/or Portfolio levels. Furthermore, they will delve into the eight flow accelerators. Ultimately, they will define the first steps in building or improving their flow strategy. The workshop is open to Scrum Masters, Team coaches, Release Train Engineers, VMO's, SPC's and LACE leaders.

Odile has 20+ years of experience helping profit and non-profit organizations in IT Service Management, Business Information Management, and Software Engineering across Europe. Over the last 10 years, Odile has been helping leaders and teams adopt Lean and Agile values, mindset, principles, and practices at scale.
Working as a Strategic advisor, Scaled Agile instructor, and consultant, Odile loves inspiring people and helping them develop the necessary skills, competencies, and behaviours to take the first step in improving and changing how they work. Combining deep matter expertise with the ability to coach on behaviour and leadership, she has proven to be a highly effective advisor for large organizations.

Virpi is a seasoned expert in Lean and Agile transformations guiding organisations through an impactful change journey. With a background in telecommunications encompassing complex system development spanning almost two decades, Virpi brings over 10 years of Lean and Agile coaching experience to the table. As a certified SAFe® SPCT, she has trained more than 1500 individuals on SAFe, leveraging her practical insights from various industries. Virpi is dedicated to helping businesses of all sizes to realise their full potential and maximise business value.
