🌍 Hey fellow agilists — want to put your skills to work for the planet? 🌿
This time and as our season finale we are doing something a little different: We’re putting together a volunteer facilitation crew for an upcoming Adaptive Action Workshop on Sunday, June 29 (16:00–19:00 CET — or just 16:00–18:00 if that’s all you can do).
This one's in collaboration with the Eco Resilience Initiative (ERI) again — they’re working on some incredibly important questions around how to prioritize conservation actions to help fight species extinction. It’s big-picture stuff, but we’ll be zooming in on how to move forward adaptively, not perfectly.
👉 We need experienced agilists and facilitators (like you!) to help run breakout groups during the workshop.
What you'll be doing:
Basically, it’s classic facilitation:
- Make sure everyone gets a voice
- Keep the group focused on the key question
- Manage time across tasks
- Build psychological safety and a collaborative vibe
Time commitment (~8–9 hours total):
- 1h intro meeting (next couple of weeks)
- 2h to go through the facilitation guide + test tools
- 1.5h walkthrough session
- 1h follow-up
- 2–3h for the actual workshop on June 29
We know it’s vacation season for many (especially in Sweden), but if you’ve got a few hours to spare, this is a great way to contribute to something that really matters. Plus, it’s a great excuse to hang out with other smart, kind, agile-minded people.
⏳ Let me know by Thursday, June 12 if you’re in.
By putting yourself as attending, we will send more information about the intro meeting and walkthrough session, so please put yourself as attending latest by 12/6!
💬 And feel free to tag or ping others who might be interested!
Let’s do something good together. 🌱
