The Beer Game - In Person!

Our next meetup is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Hagfors Center Room 150A on the Augsburg University Campus. The meetup will run 4 - 6 pm Central with doors opening at 3:30pm.. There will be no Zoom option for this event so please plan your travel accordingly.

BILL FARMER will be facilitating THE BEER GAME.

The Beer Game is a management simulation developed by the Systems Dynamics Group at MIT's Sloan School. The game board portrays the four sectors of a beer distribution chain. Playing the game is terribly simple, requiring only a decision of how much beer to order week by week.

Supply chain, what could go wrong? Play and you'll laugh, you'll curse under your breath, and you'll learn. You'll learn what Peter Senge means when he says that those who don't understand their system become its prisoners!

The Beer Game is played by teams, each team having a minimum of four players. Sign up as an individual or as a team with your friends. The number of teams is limited, so don't delay.

• Hagfors Room 150A is located just inside the main entrance to the left.
• Security will issue parking permits in the form of a pdf to be put on participants dashboards. Parking permits will be distributed to attendees prior to the event.
