Meetup Overview and Benefits
Kanban is commonly thought of as using kanban boards to give visibility of what is going on, and work-in-progress limits to avoid overburdening people.

The Kanban Method is much more powerful than this description suggests. At its core, it is an approach for optimizing delivery and catalyzing evolutionary change. Yet many teams and organizations only implement the basic practices, limiting the benefits and outcomes that can be achieved.

The pioneer of the Kanban Method, David J. Anderson, together with the wider Kanban community, developed the Kanban Maturity Model as a playbook to drive successful evolutionary change. The KMM provides guidance for organizations to become fitter for purpose.

In this session, Accredited Kanban Trainer David Spinks will highlight the basics of The Kanban Method and introduce the Kanban Maturity Model through a real-life case study.
