Hi agileans,

our next meetup will take place at Interamerican's offices, Leoforos Siggrou 124-126 (https://goo.gl/maps/X3mr8Xn47A42), next Thursday 18th of April. In this meetup, we will host an experience report and a talk about Scrum from an internationally acclaimed expert.

Agenda:

6.30' - 6.45': Gathering, announcements.

6.45' - 7.15': "Interamerican's journey towards agility"

Abstract: Lessons learned from Interamerican's journey to apply and scale agile practices.

7.15' - 7.30' : Break

7.30' - 8.30': "To Scrum or Not to Scrum? That's the Question" by Mr. Jurgen De Smet, Certified LeSS Trainer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jurgendesmet/)

Abstract: "Thanks to HBR, McKinsey and more of those, Agile has become mainstream but is it Agile? I see Agile being used as a synonym of Scrum even though Agile is more of an umbrella where Scrum is just one flavor of getting there. Many inquiries show that Scrum is the most used Agile flavor in the world and I’m here to tell you to stop that movement unless you truly mean it. Let me guide you through some basic elements and help you evaluate if you and your organization should pursue Scrum or not. Help you recognize if you are truly a Scrum Master or rather a Scrum Novice. And much more based on my 20+ years of Scrum experience..."

8.30' - 9.00': Socializing

We would like to thank Interamerican for hosting this meetup and for providing the snacks.
