In user research, user interviews help us understand the users - their behaviour, needs, pain points and mental models. This helps us build empathy with them, to see problems from their perspective and guide us toward new ways to solve their problems.
In agile teams, we might think of colleagues as 'users' of the 'agile' product. They have needs and pain points in their interactions with the agile practice. So how might we, as agile practitioners and leaders, enrich our understanding of users/colleagues, to help them navigate their agile journey towards greater individual and team success.
In this interactive session, Jason will take you through activities to learn som user interview techniques to help you to ask better questions. He hopes the session will get you thinking about your daily interactions (in and outside of ceremonies), and how good questions = more empathy and better communication and teamwork. Jason is currently a UX Lead with PALO IT, and he has had alot of experience asking people questions - as a BA, a UX researcher, project manager, design lead and mentor.
