The topic of this 25th meetup is Early-stage fundraising, and for the first time our guest will be Ross Murray Jones, the founder of Raise Like A Boss, an online platform and community which helps founders globally raise early-stage funding from the venture capital and angel investor community.

He has launched, either as a founder or part of the founding management team, three venture-capital-backed businesses in Europe and the US which have collectively raised over $40M. Ross has also helped dozens of early-stage founders raise $21M+ and invested in over 10 great startups like Revolut and What3Words.

• Your systematic approach and ability to tell a compelling story will dictate your outcome;
  Ross will share with us everything we’ll need to know and prepare during each step of the process all the way to closing a deal.
  He’ll give us all the tools we’ll need to nail our first round of funding, even looking at shifting our thinking towards playing into the emotional triggers of a typical investor.
