Agile Humans Meetup #56 A Guide to Kanban Project and Portfolio Management

Details
A Step-by-Step Guide to Kanban Project and Portfolio Management
How to Develop Organisational Agility and Adaptability
Dear agile humans, here we are once again, welcoming you to our well-known meetup. This time, we are talking about Kanban, a project management framework that originated from lean manufacturing practices and has been adapted for agile software development.
In a world of frequent changes and uncertainty, organisations have to deal effectively with external factors and internal dependencies on limited resources that affect their project and service performance. To meet customer expectations sustainably and improve their business results, they need to make fast decisions as well as to adapt continuously.
Kanban emphasises visualising work, limiting work in progress (WIP), and optimising flow to improve efficiency and effectiveness. In the context of agile methodology, Kanban provides a flexible approach to managing tasks and promoting continuous delivery.
The Kanban Project and Portfolio Management (KPPM) model guides organisations in adopting the appropriate practices and mindsets to develop their agility and adaptability. It complements other project management bodies of knowledge and applies an evolutionary approach to organisational transformation.
Based on examples from real-world companies, our amazing speaker, Teodora Bozheva, will introduce the model, and knowledge on how to use it to develop enterprise agility step by step. Whether it is your first time using this method or you want to master it, this meetup is sure to provide you with new insights into the possibilities and benefits of Kanban.
Feel free to share this invite with friends or colleagues who would also be interested in joining us. Get your notebooks, make yourself a cup of coffee, and let’s learn and hang out together on June 1st online at 6:30 p.m.
