A one-hour Scrum Lake taster session, exploring Scrum Values in a highly collaborative workshop. In Scrum Lake Workshops John and Ryan work with Scrum Masters from all around the world to deepen knowledge and experience. Get a taste of this experience in this workshop with John. John will explain how you can use metaphors to explain Scrum concepts. He will share some of our metaphors with you and work through some activities that you could use with your teams to find out metaphors that work for them. We hope to provide actionable takeaways and prompt deep discussion.

For people interested in Scrum, Scrum Lake is a place to share stories, discuss techniques and take a deeper dive into Scrum theory, practice, and reality. The workshops are a safe and structured environment for Scrum enthusiasts to be able to discuss stories and work together to learn effective techniques to deliver positive change. They provide you with the opportunity to co-create your own exploration of deeper Scrum, facilitated by two experienced Scrum Masters.

About John Albrecht
John is an accomplished Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Trainer and Consultant with a software development background. He has achieved Scrum.org PSM III, certifying a distinguished level of Scrum Mastery. He has a skill for building connections and strengthening relationships between people, at all levels and backgrounds, fostering environments where agility can succeed, and ideas integrate and flourish. He has been an advocate for lean and agile for over fourteen years, with 18 years of commercial experience leading, coaching, mentoring and growing teams and businesses.

John has a passion for building and growing communities that bring out the best in people, he is a conference and meetup speaker and an active participant in the agile community. John has created and is involved in a range of agile community training and events; an ambassador and trainer for Serious Scrum, co-founder of Scrum Lake, and a co-ordinator for Coaching Agile Journeys.
