This presentation explores the integration of Agile Hardware Development within the platform development at Roche Diagnostics, specifically focusing on Point of Care (PoC) devices. It addresses the inherent challenges of applying agile methodologies to electronics development, including the physical nature of hardware, high costs of changes, and stringent requirements.
Clemens Krämer joined Roche in 2007 as a Software Engineer for Blood Glucose Meters and Data Management Systems. After several roles in Diabetes Care Development with increasing responsibilities, he moved to Roche Diagnostics at the end of 2021. Today, he works as System Development Lead (Program Manager) for a Platform for Point-of-Care Devices.
Clemens has a degree in computer science from RWTH Aachen University. He is married, has three children and lives in the suburbance of Mannheim.
