Physical product development is often slowed down by hidden delays, complex handovers, and fragmented decision-making. Before we can accelerate, we must first see what’s really holding us back.
In this practical webinar, we’ll demonstrate how a Value Stream Mapping (VSM) exercise can uncover bottlenecks and create a shared understanding across engineering, product management, and operations. Using a real-life example from physical product development, we’ll show how VSM visualization of the end-to-end product development flow can become the first step towards identifying the gaps that are addressable with lean-agile approaches.

Erika has a background as researcher; she has now spent over a decade in the MedTech sector in various positions, following a passion of cross functional delivery. Being in the MedTech area, she has had a special focus on combining SW and HW product development as well as finding the balance in compliance and innovation. Most of the work has been focused on building organisational structures and ensuring relevant strategic processes for a clear connection between strategy and its execution. She is also passionate about rotten fish. But that is solely Sweden’s fault.

Konrad is an experienced Agile and SAFe consultant with a strong background in supporting large-scale transformations across the automotive and technology sectors. He has worked with organizations transitioning from traditional project structures to Agile ways of working—helping them bridge the gap between software and hardware development.
With a particular focus on the automotive industry, Konrad has guided cross-functional teams and leadership groups in adopting Lean-Agile principles, building effective Agile Release Trains, and fostering collaboration between engineering, product, and business domains.
He is passionate about creating environments where innovation, quality, and flow can thrive—whether in software, embedded systems, or complex hardware initiatives.
